LUKACHUKAI — Funeral services for Wilson Begay Jr., 33, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, June 23, at Wilson and Mary E. Begay's residence, Lukachukai. Burial will be in Lukachukai Community Cemetery.
Begay died Saturday, June 18, 2011, in Lukacukai. He was born July 14, 1977, in Lukachukai.
Geraldine Montano
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa — Services for Geraldine Montano, 75, were 11 a.m., Saturday, June 18, at Good Shepherd Church, Pinehaven. Burial was at Garcia Ranch, Pinehaven.
Montano died May 30, 2011, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was born Feb. 19, 1936, in Pinehaven.
Montano became ill five years ago and was moved to a care home near her daughter.
Survivors include her daughters, Gatalina Hiffernan of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Veronica of Las Vegas, Nev.; sons, Gilbert Olguin of Virginia, Ralph Montano of Grants, Ruben Olguin of Germany, EJ Olguin of Oklahoma; sisters, Stella Montano of Phoenix, Pefitia Sandoval of Albuquerque; brother, Ernie Montano of Lakeside, Ariz.; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
Montano was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Rosenda Montano; daughter, Armenia Martinez; sons, Gerrado, George, Jackie Olguin; sister, Laura Villanueva; brothers, Ralph Montano, Leo Montano.
The family received relatives and friends at Elena Bowers residence, Pinehaven, following service.
Janie Robinson
PUEBLO, Colo. — Funeral services for Janie Mae Robinson, 91, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, June 23, at First Baptist Church, Mountain Road. Burial will be in Grants Memorial Park. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m., Thursday, June 23, at First Baptist Church.
Robinson died June 15, 2011, in Pueblo, Colo. She was born Jan. 29, 1920, in Colburn County, Miss.
Robinson was a long time resident of Grants and retired from Grants High School.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra Robinson-Decker of Colorado City, Colo.; brother, Edwin White of Memphis; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Begay was preceded in death by her husband, John Lamar Robinson; parents, Grover Cleveland White, Minnie Edna White; sister, Judy Combs.
Pallbearers will be Ed Decker, Mike Rahl, Brian Rahl, Donald Decker, David Decker.
